Tiffany R. Gorman grew up in Manteno, Illinois and is a 1996 graduate of Manteno High School. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in both English and Speech Communication in 2000. At U of I she was an avid Illini fan and member of Illini Pride and Orange Krush. She played intramural volleyball, soccer and football, and was a member of the Illinois Women¹s Club Volleyball team for two years. Tiffany was very involved in her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, serving as a member of the Executive Board, Panhellenic Delegate, Greek Week Chair, Open Rush Chair, and Semi-formal Chair. She also volunteered with the Adopt-A-School program. After college, Tiffany attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law and received her J.D. in 2003. She received certificates from Loyola in the areas of International Law and Practice as well as Health Law. While at Loyola, she was a member of the Mediation Competition Team, where she received Outstanding Mediator awards two years in a row, and placed second in the national mediation competition. She was also a member of the Client Counseling Competition team, as well as a Law Related Education Volunteer at the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center, and a recipient of the Loyola Leadership and Service Award. During law school, Tiffany worked at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, as well as the Office of the Dean at Loyola. She was involved in numerous organizations including the Health Law Society, the Public Interest Law Society, the Women¹s Law Society, and served as Vice President of the International Law Society. She was on the editorial board of the Forum of International Law, and helped to plan a conference on the expansion of the European Union, which brought in prominent speakers from around the world. Tiffany also participated in several international study programs through Loyola, including the Rome Program, the European Institutions Program (Oxford University, Strasbourg, Luxembourg, and Brussels), and the London Advocacy Program. Tiffany practices in the areas of real estate, local criminal prosecution, civil litigation, and municipal law. |
