Kenneth A. Grey served in the U.S. Army
Security Agency (Military Intelligence) from 1970-1975 serving in
Germany for 3 of those years, before earning a B.A. with honors, in
1977, from Western Illinois University and a J.D. from John Marshall
Law School in 1983. He was admitted to the Bar in 1983 in Illinois and
U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Grey served as a Will County Assistant State’s Attorney
from 1983-1985. He held the position of Chief of the Misdemeanor
Division (1985) and was a felony prosecutor. He is a member of the
Will County, Illinois State and American Bar Associations. He was also
chapter President of the Christian Legal Society (JMLS) 1982-1983. In
1985, Mr. Grey was elected to the Village Board of Trustees of the
Village of Frankfort, Illinois and held the position of Village
Trustee. He also served as Chairman of the Planning and Zoning
Commission. In 1985, Ken joined the McKeown Law Firm and became a
partner in 1988. He became a Senior Partner in 1995.
In 1985, Ken served as Assistant Village Attorney to George E.
Sangmeister who was Village Attorney. In 1988 when Mr. Sangmeister was
elected to the United States House of Representatives, Mr. Grey was
appointed and continues to hold the position of Village Attorney for
the Village of Mokena, Illinois. Mr. Grey participates with numerous
charitable organizations and has taught law enforcement part time at
Joliet Junior College since 1983.
He is married to Toni Lee and father of Matthew, Megan, Nick,
Lauren and Drew. His areas of concentration are Municipal, Litigation, Real Estate, Wills and Environmental Law. |
