Max E. Zollner graduated from Knox College in 1960 with a B.A.
degree majoring in History and graduated from the University of
Illinois College of Law in 1963 with a JD degree. He first practiced
law with Kevin Kelly in LaSalle-Peru, Illinois before becoming
associated with the McKeown Law Firm in 1964. He was named a partner
in 1969 and served fifteen years as managing partner. Max retired in
December, 2002 and currently is Of Counsel to the McKeown Law Firm
concentrating his practice in estate planning, federal taxation,
estate administration and real estate.
Max has been active in numerous community organizations having
served as President of the Joliet Kiwanis Club, Will County Philatelic
Club, Joliet Barbershoppers Blackhawk Chorus, Education to Careers and
Chairman of the Joliet YMCA Board of Directors and Joliet YMCA Board
of Trustees. He was co-chair of a successful current 9.1 million
dollar YMCA capital fund campaign. Max regularly participates in
running, triathlon and swimming competitions. He resides in Joliet
with his wife Marilyn, a retired restaurateur.
